Winterization system is used to remove waxes, fats from crude extracts. The system can be suitable for cannabis&hemp crude extracts, eaglewood crude extracts, sandalwood crude extracts, etc.

PS: Crude extracts usually is extracted by supercritical co2 extraction machine. So winterization system usually is used together with supercritical co2 extraction machine.

Winterization system is continuous line, which include mixing, winterization, filtration, solvent recovery. Compared with traditional process, winterization system is more efficiency, will not cause solvent volatilization and loss. The most important is that the waxes and fats will not redissolve in the solvent during filtration, so you can get higher purity oil finally.

 From 2018, the winterization system is popular in cannabis extraction filed. Our winterization system is also upgraded with customers’ feedback.

 For now, we have made two upgrades to the winterization system. Using 300L winterization system as example, details as follow

 1.Upgradingone 300L winterization tank to three 100L winterization tanks. It will increase the winterization efficiency and do better preparation for filtration.

2.Upgrading one stage filtration to two stages filtration. Previous filtration device is paper filter, now is bag filters and paper filter. It will much speed up filtration.
